The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of two parts: Part 1 - City Funded Work: Grant Avenue (a) Pavement Rehabilitation: (i) Grant Avenue Eastbound from Rockwood Street to Stafford Street; and (ii) Grant Avenue Westbound from Stafford Street to Harrow Street. Taylor Avenue (a) Asphalt Reconstruction: (i) Taylor Avenue Westbound from Lindsay Street to Centennial Street; (b) Pavement Rehabilitation: (i) Taylor Avenue Eastbound from Renfrew Street to Lindsay Street. Part 2 - Manitoba Hydro Funded Work: Taylor Avenue (a) Street Lighting and Associated Works: (i) Taylor Avenue Westbound from Lindsay Street to Centennial Street. The City currently has no approved funding in the Capital Budget for Part 2 of the Work, but is anticipating receiving notification about funding from the Manitoba Hydro by late May. Part 2 of the Work is contingent upon the Manitoba Hydro approving sufficient funding. Further to C7.1, if notice of sufficient funding is not received, the City shall have the right to eliminate all or any portion of Part 2, and the Contract Price will be reduced accordingly. The Bidder shall include in their Bid Submission Bid security in the form of a digital Bid bond, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price. A Performance Bond of a Company Registered to Conduct the Business of a Surety in Manitoba, in the Form Attached to These Supplemental Conditions (Form H1: Performance Bond), in the Amount of Fifty Percent (50%) of the Contract Price; and A Labour and Material Payment Bond of a Company Registered to Conduct the Business of a Surety in Manitoba, in the Form Attached to These Supplemental Conditions (Form H2: Labour and Material Payment Bond), in an Amount Equal to Fifty Percent (50%) of the Contract Price.
