Thirty percent (30%) of all work on this project, as measured by percentage of the total dollar value of the contract, shall be performed by minority business enterprises (MBE), including a minimum ten percent (10%) of which shall be performed by women business enterprises (WBE). This project is tax exempt. A tax exemption letter will be made available to the successful bidder upon request. The right is reserved by the City of Jennings to reject any and all bids, including, without limitation, any and all bids considered by the City to be materially unbalanced, not responsive or otherwise irregular and to waive any informality or technicality in any bid and to award the bid in the best interest of the City.
