Demolition, site work, paving, outdoor lighting and new construction of a mixed-use development in Jennings, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; bridge / tunnel; bridge / tunnel; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The proposed work includes: The reconstruction of the Hamilton Ave Bridge over Metrolink, located between Nina Place and DiGiverville Avenue. Improvements include the complete demolition and replacement of the existing bridge, new ADA compliant sidewalks and ramps, new street lighting, and utility relocations. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2022 Edition including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The Board of Public Service reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The DBE Goal for this project is 10%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project. MODOT - Reconstruction of Hamilton Bridge Over Metrolink Questions regarding the plans and specifications must be submitted no later than May 22, 2024.
