The Virginia Department of Forestry is seeking a contractor to provide lawn care services from at two adjacent DOF properties near the Mathews State Forest. *Bid pricing must be inclusive of labor, fuel and any associated mobilization fees. 200 Jacks Orchard Rd, Galax, VA 24333 and 106 Forestry Ln, Galax, VA 24333 The Contractor shall provide the Purchasing Agency the services normally associated with lawn services. These services shall be performed at the Matthews State Forest of the Virginia Department of Forestry. The property physical address consists of two locations separated by U.S. Highway 58 with one location being North of Highway 58 at 106 Forestry Lane, and the other being South of Highway 58 at 200 Jacks Orchard Road - both being located near Galax, VA. 24333. Maximum of 38 cuts during the stated period on a roughly weekly basis, dependent on weather and actual need. The Department of Forestry reserves the right to determine the total number of cuts required and the frequency based on actual need.
