Site work and renovation of a civil project in Texas City, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work on this contract includes onsite improvements to Lift Station #30 and offsite improvements near the City Wastewater Treatment Plant. The onsite improvements include the replacement of a deteriorated section of 24-inch steel discharge pipe. The work includes new pipe, new fittings, couplings, and a plug valve. The offsite improvements include installation of 30-inch and 36-inch plug valves onto an existing pipe header located at the City Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work also includes the rehabilitation of a sanitary junction box manhole, rehabilitation of a sanitary manhole, and cured in place pipe liner of a segment of 48" sanitary sewer pipe. Question Deadline 08/22/2023 at 5:00 PM CT Submit questions about bidding documents to the Engineer/Professional. Inquiries are permitted until ninety-six (96) hours prior to bid opening. Necessary replies will be issued to bidders of record as addenda, which become a part of the bidding documents. Bid security in the amount of five (5) percent of the greatest amount bid must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond in an amount of 100% of the total contract price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive bid irregularities as the interest of the Owner may require.
