Renovation of a medical facility in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a hospital.
In order to provide critical care for patients in the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority region, the Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) GI/GU Radiology requires the procurement of a Lithotripter System to replace the existing system that is at end of life. Any proposed replacement for the existing Lithotripter system must be designed to continue or expand on the existing capabilities of the current system. The proposed Lithotripter system must be stationary, floor mounted, integrated Urology/Tower/Workstation, combined C-Arm and Electromagnetic Shockwave unit (Urology and Lithotripter) in one system. Dual Focus for stone specific parameter with up to 180 mm deep into larger patient bodies, Integrated Monitor Setup allowing for Ceiling Lift capability, Table rail system and Leg stirrup attachment, and needs to fit specifications for current OR including Post Warranty Services for the life of the Equipment Awarded: Storz Medical America Inc. - $1,249,516
