Renovation of a medical facility in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade medical facility.
BCEHS is planning to renovate approximately 1,050m2 of space on the third floor of the existing VDOC. The fit-up work will include modifications to the existing space to suit the PTN and PTCC programs. The new space includes open workstations, some offices, support spaces, locker room, UPS room, and ancillary support spaces. Construction work will include new partitions, doors, interior finishes, fixturing, and mechanical and electrical service work. NextGen911 Adjacent to the proposed Virtual Way renovation area, BCEHS is planning to construct a new server room for the NG911 equipment. The room will require appropriate cooling, connection to emergency power in the form of both UPS and generator as well as security and finishes. The Consultants are required to confirm if the existing UPS/proposed new UPS and rental generator have capacity to accommodate the equipment being installed as part of the NG911 project. TIMELINE: Project was tendered and awarded.
