As of March 28, 2024, an awarded construction manager has been identified. Construction commenced with the ground breaking ceremony on December 18, 2023. The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians will receive sealed competitive bids at the office of MBCI Office of Construction Management 354 Industrial Road No. 2 Choctaw, MS until 10:00 a.m. CST on August 18, 2023, for the following: Project #: WE 22-0475 and PM 2022101- MBCI New Choctaw Central Campus CIVIL PACKAGE NO. 2 Project specific questions shall be directed to Construction Manager - Yates Construction, LLC., 104 Gully Avenue, Philadelphia, MS 39350, (601)527-5182. lkennard@wgyates.com Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate on form provided and accompanied by a Bid Bond or Security in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of the submitted base proposal. Such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who fails to carry out the terms of the accepted Bid and/or execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bond as required within the time specified. The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians reserves the right to accept/reject any and all bids and waive informalities.
