Site work for a mixed-use development in Delta, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Delta is seeking to construct the civil work for a second synthetic turf field at Mackie Park. Through this Request for Qualifications, the City wishes to identify general contractors qualified to construct this synthetic turf field. The City's intent is to create a shortlist of qualified contractors and subsequently invite these respondents only to submit firm-priced tenders. In general, the project consists of the supply and installation of a drainage system for the field, perimeter fencing, asphalt walkway, retaining walls, L.E.D. field lighting for the new field, replacement of existing metal halide field lighting at the existing synthetic turf field with L.E.D. lights, goals and field equipment, aggregate for synthetic turf surfacing, shelters for player benches and scorekeeper benches, bleachers, spotter and filming towers, pre-ducting for future scoreboard(s) and relocation of existing basketball hoops. Shock pad and infilled synthetic turf surfacing will be by Others (Turf Contractor).
