Renovation of a detention facility in Brookville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners request bids for new HVAC Roof Top Units(RTU) located at the Jefferson County Jail. Work includes removal and proper disposal of existing RTUs, removal and proper disposal of refrigerant from existing RTUs, installation of new RTUs (using crane mounted in place), and reinstalling electrical including exterior mounted disconnect switch and natural gas piping to the existing thermostat wire. The Successful Bidder will be required to execute the Agreement and to furnish evidence of insurance coverage as required by the Bidding Documents. No bids may be withdrawn, except when the bidder meets the requirements of Act No. 4 of the General Assembly of Pennsylvania Senate Bill 793, Printers No.1655. The Jefferson County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality and to award the contract as may be deemed by the County to be in their best interest. Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening.
