Bid Package #6B - Modular Housing Submit RFI's by to Jake Losett at jlosett@scullconst.com. CONTRACT DESCRIPTION: The work of each separate prime contract is identified in the bid scopes. Scope of Project Scull Construction and the Oglala Lakota County School District are seeking proposals for the design, construction, delivering, and setting services for 10 each three-bedroom modular housing units for the Oglala Lakota Wolf Creek Staff Modular Housing - Phase 2 project. Drawings and performance specifications are available for use for putting together the bid/pricing component of this RFP. If you are interested in this project, please respond to all questions below. The project is tentatively scheduled to break ground fall of 2023 with a required completion date of September 2024. This completion date isforthe entire project and modular houses will need to be delivered per the schedule issued with the Construction Manager's Bid Manual The scope of this RFP will consist of providing modular housing units to meet the plans, specifications, and bid package issued with this project. Construction services to provide all trade labor, material, management, and CMAR support to provide a complete system scope of work for the following: o Construction of 10 each three-bedroom modular housing units: o To meet the intent shown in the plans/specifications/bid package issued with this project (Base Bid): Including all dimensions to match what is shown on the plans o Contractors will have an option to provide Value Engineering pricing to provide modular housing units thatstill meet all of the performance criteria in the plans/specifications, but that allow for dimensions that are more standard for their manufacturing capabilities o Transportation/delivery of units to the project site (by the dates shown in the project schedule) o Setting of the modular housing units on the site foundations: o All foundations that the units will be setting on will have full basements o Modular contractors to include provisions for stair access into the basements o The intent is for the modular housing supplier to provide and install all materials as called out in the plans/specification/bid package; the Owner is trying to eliminate on-site work as much as possible: o The modular supplier is to include all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems complete (on-site tie-ins will be by others): All modular unit equipment will need to be run off of electricity o The only things that are intended to be done on-site (by others), after the units have been set as a part of the scope of work of this package is: Tying in of modular unit into foundation Building of decks/ramps Tying in of electrical service into house panel Tying of water/sewer services Buildout of basements
