Reference Number AB-2023-05055 Question Deadline 08/11/2023 The City of Chestermere is seeking proposals for the provision of Solid Waste Collections, Hauling, & Processing over the next three (3) years The City of Chestermere currently has a three-cart residential waste arrangement (recycling, garbage, and organics. Lakeweed Cart collections are an additional seasonable waste stream (Beginning of July to end of Sept) The City of Chestermere is a fast-growing community located 10 minutes east of Calgary with a population of approximately 30,000. The City of Chestermere has around 7501 residential dwellings, with a projected growth rate of 300-360 dwellings per year over next 3 years. It is the City's intention to enter into an agreement with one (1) or up to three (3) legal entities. The term of the agreement is to be for a period of 3 years, with an option in favour of the City to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to two (2) years
