Renovation of an educational facility in Gunnison, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 13,400-square-foot educational facility.
As of January 22, 2024, this RFP was not awarded and has been cancelled. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Reference Number 0000326948 Western Colorado University requests the submittal of qualifications from Architectural/Engineering consultants interested in providing design, contract administration, and construction observation service for the renovation of Hurst Hall. The design concepts, and the priorities are based on Make it Safe, Prioritize Teaching Labs, Future Proof Laboratory Space, Show off the Science, and ventilation. It is approximately 13,400 sq. ft. in area which is located within Hurst Hall. This project also requires several immediate upgrades to maintain the existing Hurst facility to reduce long-term maintenance costs and improve safety for students, faculty, and staff. The estimated construction cost is $3,284,994.00.
