Construction of the First Peoples House at the University of Alberta. The scope of work includes alterations to three floors (main, lower and second) which will be fully renewed. The exterior envelope of the building also be completely renovated. The design and construction of this renewed facility will target all possible sustainability elements with the goal of obtaining the lowest possible carbon footprint within the constraints of the existing building. TIMELINE: The University of Alberta has issued a Request For Proposals from experienced Architecture/Engineering Consultancy's as the prime and coordinating Consultant for First Peoples' House. The estimated contract period will be 26 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/09/21.
