Reference Number 0000253764 Question Acceptance Deadline Aug 28, 2023 02:00 PM MDT The work comprises of renovations to upgrade the DDC control system and equipment at RCMP 'K' Division HQ in Edmonton, Alberta. Background: The Reliable Building Automation System (BAS) is original to the building (1997) and has reached its end of life. The main panels and the VAV controllers are no longer supported and there are very few spare parts still available; therefore a portion of the controllers have been upgraded over the years. The intent of this project is to replace all obsolete primary controllers and VAV controllers with newer controllers that are compatible with the existing Reliable BAS. The project also includes upgrades to the networking, server, software, and graphics. The upgrade shall be able to support the upcoming major HVAC retrofits recommended in the Carbon Neutral Study.
