The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, AR, has a requirement titled "Upgrade Switchgear Electronic Components (B-27,B-29) for project number 564-23-503. This acquisition will be solicited pursuant to the Veterans' First Public Law 109-461 as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set Aside (SDVOSB). The tentative date for issuing the RFP is on or around December 20, 2024, with proposals due approximately 30 calendar days later on or around January 20, 2025. A Firm-Fixed Price construction contract award is anticipated. Location of work is at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks 1100 North College Avenue Fayetteville, AR 72703-1944. Contractor must furnish all management, supervision, labor, material, equipment, tools, supplies, consumables, parts, and related services, in accordance with the SOW, drawings, and specifications to be complete and working upgrade of the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and the Control System of the Medium Voltage Generator Paralleling Switchgear System located in Building 27. The Scope of this work will also include a complete and working upgrade of the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and the Control System of the Low Voltage Generator Paralleling Switchgear System located in Building 29. Due to projected long lead items, the period of performance will be 450 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
