The County of Riverside Purchasing on behalf of the Transportation Land Management Agency - Code Enforcement Department is soliciting Request for Qualification (RFQu) for a pre-approved list of vendors with a Not to Exceed $200,000 project limit for demolition, removal and disposal of structures, vehicles, RVs, non-native plant material, construction/demolition debris, excessive outside storage, accumulated rubbish, green waste and appliances. This may also include asbestos inspection and removal of candidate properties identified and approved by COUNTY. Successful bidders should have knowledge of Riverside County and experience with the department. The benefits of being approved as a prequalified contractor for informal public projects is that project managers can contact companies on the approved "All Projects under $200,000" list directly for projects under $60,000 with no competitive bidding required and/or companies on the "Exclusive Small Projects" list for projects under $25,000 which do not require contractor registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) nor project registration or project bonds. The following license at a minimum is required for projects: B - General Building and or C-21 Building Moving Demolition, C-22 Asbestos Abatement Contractor; Sections cited: 7008 and 7059, Reference: Sections 7058 and 7059 (Business & Professional Code), and & if present Asbestos: ASB Certification & CAL/OSHA Certificate of Registration for Asbestos Related Work & Lead Based Paint Removal: LRC Certified by CDPH for worker and supervisor.
