As of December 20, 2024 project was awarded to John Muggli Contracting, LLC, awarded amount is $493,830.30. The project generally consists of replacing the Hammond Irrigation District (HID) Big Porcupine Creek Siphon located approximately 9 miles northwest of Forsyth, Montana in Section 3, Township 06 North, Range 39 East. The work shall include, but not be limited to, the following tasks (quantities provided are approximate): o Mobilizing and demobilizing personnel, equipment, supplies, and incidentals. o Demolishing and disposing of the existing Big Porcupine Creek Siphon and inlet and outlet structures. o Clearing and grubbing. o Dewatering and surface water management. o Constructing cast-in-place concrete inlet and outlet structures and installing appurtenances. o Installing 130 linear feet (LF) of 48-inch DR 32.5 fusible High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) siphon pipe. o Placing, grading, and compacting 420 cubic yards (CY) of owner provided and imported fill. o Installing 50 CY of MDT Class I riprap rock. o Seeding, fertilizing, and mulching 0.5 acres of dis- turbed ground. o Installing and maintaining stormwater BMPs. o Other miscellaneous work. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Bid Bond payable to the Rosebud County in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. Bids submitted via mail shall have any of the bid securities included.
