Site work for a road / highway in Forsyth, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project consists of repairs of Castle Rock Road in order to continue to serve critical mining businesses that operate along those roads as well as provide continued access to the Colstrip Airport. Areas of repair are separated into 1 base bid and 17 additive alternates, and include the stretch of Castle Rock Road from Highway 39 to approximately 8 miles west. Tentative bid award date is June 25, 2024. Base bid thru additive alternate 2 (if awarded) shall be completed in 2024. The remaining work may carry over to 2025 if necessary. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be submitted in writing to and must be received by Great West Engineering no later than 12:00 p.m. local time on June 13, 2024. Questions received after this date will not be answered. Oral questions will only be accepted at the PreBid conference. Written comments may be submitted to Brandon Duffey of Great West Engineering by mail at: 6780 Trade Center Avenue, Billings, MT 59101 or email at: bduffey@greatwesteng.com. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect
