CITY OF FORSYTH, MONTANA will receive separate sealed bids for the construction of FORSYTH WATER TREATMENT PLANT & SYSTEM CONTROL UPGRADES project No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the bid opening. THE PROJECT GENERALLY CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING WORK: o BASE BID: The work generally consists of replacements and upgrades to various components, systems, and appurtenances at the water treatment plant, water intake building, and water tank. Items may include, but not be limited to, replacement of SCADA related systems, remote-control panels, supervisory control panels, various sensors and transmitters, electrical systems, flow/turbidity meters, gas chlorination monitoring equipment, and valves and actuators. The work shall be substantially completed by Saturday, October 11, 2025. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the OWNER, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) [MT] of the total amount of the bid. Successful bidders shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a labor and materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful bidder(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. The bid bond, a copy of the CONTRACTOR's license or certificate of renewal, and applicable funding requirement forms shall be included with each bid of proposal. All bids must be sealed. No bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to Bond and Licenses, and any deficient bid submitted will be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately. The OWNER reserves the right to hold all bids and bid securities for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days and to hold the three low bids and bid securities for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening.
