the Contract requires the use of American Iron and steel products. Iron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials. Contractor will be required to provide Owner documentation of the use of American Iron and steel. Quantity Item 1 LS Mobilization and Traffic Control 24,000 LF sanitary sewer Cleaning and CCtV Inspection 40 Each Packer Injection grouting of sewer or Lateral Repair Locations 200 gallon Chemical grout 21,000 LF 8-inch sanitary sewer CIPP Lining 2,000 LF 10-inch sanitary sewer CIPP Lining 350 LF 12-inch sanitary sewer CIPP Lining 350 LF 15-inch sanitary sewer CIPP Lining Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner encourages MBEs, WBEs, and sBRAs to submit Bid proposals. the City of Ashland reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City.
