Renovation of a fire / police facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
As of September 26,2023, Project will rebid but no definite date yet. The Housing Authority is seeking bids on a contract for the following: Provide labor and material to: Replace Allis Chambers Fire Pump Metal base with new base that is "OEM" specification to the original installation. Location: Caliguiri Plaza 803 E. Warrington Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15210 1. Demo and remove old fire pump base plate 2. Install new base plate 3. Grout new base plate per NFPA 20 4. Remount pump and electrical motor to base plate 5. Align motor and pump shafts 6. Schedule all work with Field Maintenance supervisor 7. Make sure all fire alarm systems are put on hold as the work is going on 8. Have all work inspected by the Housing Authority Supervisor 9.
