Reference Number: AB-2023-05102 The Pine Coulee Project is located in southern Alberta southwest of Stavely as shown in Figure 1.0 or the Terms of Reference (TOR). The main purpose of the system is to divert, store and release water from Willow Creek for the water management objectives of irrigation, flow regulation, conservation, and recreation. The project includes an off-stream reservoir, a main dam on Pine Creek and a diversion dam on Willow Creek. On Willow Creek the diversion headpond is created by an embankment dam containing canal headgates, sluiceway, diversion weir and an erodible fuse plug section. The layout of the Pine Coulee diversion headpond is shown in Figure 2.0 of the TOR, the diversion weir is located in SW 32-13-28-W4. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Contract Award: September 1, 2023 The Province reserves the right to deny any request for replacement and reject any proposed resource replacement. Questions or concerns must be communicated in writing to the Contracting Manager at least three Business Days prior to the RFPs Closing Date and Time. Questions received after this time will be answered if, in the opinion of the Province, time permits.
