Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Ocean View, Delaware. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of a water treatment plant for Iron and Manganese removal, various associated construction efforts 2160 Sqr Footage Work consists of construction of a water treatment plant designed for the removal of Iron and Manganese from groundwater. Construction efforts associated with the project include the construction of a CMU water treatment building, manganese-greensand filtration system, cast-in-place backwash holding tanks, backwash waste pumps, backwash recirculation system, chemical feed systems, installation of new submersible well pumps with VFD in four (4) existing wells, yard piping, modifications to the existing piping associated with existing distribution pumps, electrical improvements, onsite gravity sewer and sitework. The new water treatment plant will be constructed on the same site as the existing water treatment plant which will be required to remain operational to the greatest extent possible during the duration of the construction Contract. Supply of the manganese greensand filtration system and associated equipment is under contract by the OWNER and will be furnished by Hungerford and Terry, Inc. for installation by the successful bidder.
