No definite date for the rebid" The City of Kerman is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide Biolac Sludge Dredging at its Waste Water Treatment Plant ("WWTP"). The WWTP is located at 15485 W. Church Avenue, Kerman, CA. The City Biolac pond is at max capacity and needs settled organic material pumped into a drying basin. Proposer will mobilize all necessary equipment to perform its work at the Kerman Waste Water Treatment Plant. Proposer will fuse 8" pipe from the pond to the drying basin where pond material will be pumped into. Proposer will dredge during the hours of 7:00AM - 4:00PM, or will allow overnight if requested. Proposer dredge will pump a thick slurry into the City's drying basin. Proposer will remove and replace Biolac Aeration System for Proposer to dredge pond. The overall system must remain in operation throughout dredging activities and with a portion of the aeration system to be turned off surrounding the dredge during operations to aid in production. Proposals received after the time and date specified above will be considered nonresponsive and will be returned to the Proposer. The time of completion for the project shall be 30 working days after given the Notice to Proceed from the City. A bid bond is not required.A valid California Class 'A' Contractor's License is required for this Project. The City reserves the right to seek supplementary information from any proposer at any time after official proposal opening and before the award.The City reserves the right to reject or accept any or all proposals or parts thereof, and to accept or reject the alternatives individually or jointly, for any reason.
