As of August 15, 2024, per owner, this project was finished last year. It was a 2023 project. The 5-year Capital Pavement Management Plan (PMP) identifies the planned streets for the next five years. The Plan is updated every fall to review priorities and needs, but generally intends to keep the overall condition index (OCI) average across all streets at 70 or higher. The City uses a Pavement Management System in Cartegraph to monitor the condition of City streets. While proper preventative maintenance extends the life of the street and is cost effective, a street will eventually deteriorate to a point that major maintenance is required. Rehabilitation projects exited the life of the street. In cases when utilities or poor subgrade needs to be replaced or where streets have deteriorated to a point where rehabilitation will no longer be practical, reconstruction of the street is necessary. A feasibility study is written to consider the merits of the project, scope of work, costs, and assessments. Fiscal Year 2023 -2028
