Site work for a road / highway in Columbus, Ohio. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The 69-2 circuit is 9.7 miles long and stretches from our Jackson Pike Substation to our Southerly Substation. Some of the line has been upgraded, but 8.3 miles of this circuit still need to be reconductored with newer, larger wire to both extend the useful life of this circuit and to provide additional capacity for the expected increased loading from solar production. Other work planned on the project includes survey to determine if the existing route is the optimal alignment, pole inspections to ensure deteriorated poles are replaced, and replacement of lightning arrestors for the safety and reliability of the circuit.
