Site work for a water / sewer project in Carroll, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Water main infrastructure improvements including approximately 1,700 LF of 8" water main, 350 LF of 6" water main, service installation and connection, boring and open cut trench installation, and water appurtenances. Stage 1 includes work along East Street. If work for stage 1 begins in 2023 work for stage 1 must be completed by November 15, 2023. This does not include seeding. If work for Stage 1 begins in 2024 work for Stage 1 may begin April 1, 2024, or other date as approved by Owner, and must be completed by October 1, 2024. Stage 2 includes work along Highway 30. Work for Stage 2 may begin April 1, 2024, or other date as approved by Owner, and must be completed by October 1, 2024. Should the contractor fail to complete the work in this timeframe, liquidated damages of $500.00 per calendar day will be assessed for work not completed within the designated contract term. The City of Carroll, lowa hereby reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the Jurisdiction.
