Demolition of the existing booster station and foundation; installation of a new foundation and a prefabricated booster pump system with an enclosure. Sewer and Water Construction, Irrigation, Buildings/Public, Water/Wastewater Infrastructure The City of Carroll reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities in the form of the bid, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City. The work shall commence on the day indicated in the Notice to Proceed and shall be substantially complete, and completed and ready for final payment, on or before December 31, 2024. Should the Contractor fail to complete the work in this timeframe, liquidated damages of $5,000 per calendar day will be assessed for work not completed within the designated contract terms. The successful bidder will be required to furnish bonds in an amount equal to one-hundred percent (100 percent) of the contract price, said bonds to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City Council and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment for all materials and labor and protect and save harmless the City from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operations of Contractor.
