Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Somerville, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The scope of this project is to preserve this city asset; the work includes replacing the existing EPDM roof, repairing/covering select building envelop elements/egresses and supplemental concrete work to support key foundation locations. Project also includes a number of scope alternates to selectively demolish interior areas/spaces, provide dehumidification and facilitate code required lighting and fire alarm systems. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract begins on or about 11/20/2024 and ends on or about 11/19/2027. If applicable, optional renewal years may be exercised by the sole discretion of the City (see cover page for anticipated contract term).
