Renovation of a mixed-use development in South Gate, California. Design plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; municipal facility; and theater / auditorium.
Per the owner, as of September 26, 2024, the project was halted at 50% design due to the City changing priorities and shifting the available budget to other priorities. The owner states that the project is now on indefinite hold. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. .......... The City of South Gate is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide energy assessments at four essential City facilities, followed by development of plans, specifications and estimate to upgrade their emergency backup generators in accordance with the findings of the energy assessments and as directed by the City. The preliminary engineering for this project is funded by $350,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.
