Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work for which bids are to be submitted consists of furnishing all labor, materials and performing all work required for the resurfacing of Bakertown Road, Louse Creek Road / Lois Ridge Road and Short Creek Road, as described herein and as specified in the plans. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a Surety Company acceptable to the Owner on the form contained herein, or on a form provided by the Surety Company; or a certified check, or a cashier's check made payable to the Owner, for not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the bid. Any payment or performance bonds required therewith shall not relieve the Surety from any of its obligations under this Performance Bond. The Bidder agrees to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" and to complete the project within the time specified in the Proposal. Bidder also agrees to pay, as liquidated damages, the sum for each calendar day thereafter as provided for in the Proposal. Moore County reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, to waive technicalities or informalities, and to accept any proposals deemed to be in the best interest of Moore County. No bid shall be valid unless signed. No bid shall be accepted by FAX machine.
