A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Architect's estimate range, including alternates (if any), is $3,500,000 to $4,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. General Contract which includes General, Site Demolition, Hazardous Materials Remediation, Civil, and other work BID SECURITY: A certified check, a bank cashiers check, or a bid bond executed by a State licensed surety company made payable to City of Sumner is required with each bid, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Bid plus Additive Alternates, if any. PREVAILING RATE OF WAGE: Pursuant to RCW 39.12, no worker, laborer, or mechanic employed in the performance of any part of this contract shall be paid less than the 'prevailing rate of wage' (in effect as the date the bids are due) as determined by the Industrial Statistician of the Department of Labor and Industries. Copies of the prevailing wage rate schedule are available directly from the Department of Labor and Industries. REJECTION OF BIDS: The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and/or all Bids for any reason and in particular to reject a bid not accompanied by any required bid security or data required by the Bidding Documents or a Bid in any way incomplete or irregular.
