Engineer firm information has not been determined *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Hallandale Beach is seeking proposals from qualified engineering Firms, hereinafter referred to as the Consultant, to provide 100% design development services for N.W./S.W. 8th Avenue, for the Complete Street Design Project, Hallandale Beach. The design services are to increase safety, implement wider sidewalks, bike lanes, and improve the roadway on N.W./S.W. 8th Avenue from Pembroke Road to County Line Road. Overall required professional services include but are not limited to existing conditions and best practices, surveying, geotechnical analysis, roadway design, drainage design, sidewalks, bike lanes, lighting, bus shelters (only associated with City Community Shuttle bus stops), landscaping, irrigation, on-street parking, environmental documentation, project management, and public involvement (Community Outreach). N.W./S.W. 8th Avenue is a City owned road. The Project limits are from Pembroke Road (North) to County City Line (South) and consists of adding four feet (4') wide bike lanes, graphic signage, center median, seven feet (7') wide sidewalks, crosswalks, bus shelters, lighting upgrades, landscaping, and irrigation. In accordance with Florida Statutes, Chapter 287, Section 287.055, Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), the City of Hallandale Beach is soliciting interested Firms with substantial experience and capabilities to provide engineering services, including but not limited to, conceptual design, design development, preparation of construction documents, and permitting services. All work must be in compliance with the current Florida Building Code in addition to City Zoning code requirements and City and County Ordinances. The selected Firm will prepare all documents in the formats required by the City of Hallandale Beach and adhere to all City project deadlines.
