The City wishes to replace the existing fire station No. 4 located at 520 boulevard de Lavigerie, with a new construction better positioned according to the fire protection criteria developed in the risk coverage plan adopted by the City. The project provides for the construction of a one-storey building with mezzanine, without basement, with a floor area of 835 m2 whose level 1 is divided into two distinct sections. A "living area" of approx 295m2, including kitchen, living room, dormitories and sanitary facilities, accommodates four alternating duty teams, each composed of four firefighters and a lieutenant. The other part of the 540 m2 building is mainly used for the storage of emergency vehicles and boats. This floor area includes technical, storage and maintenance rooms. Outdoor amenities include a visitor and employee parking area, a fire truck access and parking area, a retention basin and pedestrian access sidewalks.
