The plans detail a 7,222 square foot building, plus improvements and updates to water, sewer, gas, electric, parking lot, sidewalks, gates, fencing, and landscaping. The three original buildings in which the district currently works out of will be demolished, along with a number of trees on the property. Two mature spruce trees have received the majority of attention, though the Christmas Tree, also known as the Community Tree, will be protected. The hazardous materials building will be relocated on site. As of October 16, 2023, construction has not started.
