Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The purpose of this project is to modify existing bus stops throughout the GO Transit Service Area so that there is a clear area of a minimum of 6 metres parallel to the roadway by a width of 3 metres perpendicular to the roadway. The intent is to provide a hard surface suitable for safe accessible loading and unloading of passengers from all buses that comprise the GO Transit fleet. The Work will include some or all of the following at each location where applicable: a) Construction of concrete pads or extension of existing concrete pads. b) Construction of a curb wall where there is a change of grade elevation. c) Construction of a curb to accommodate a raised concrete pad next to a roadway. d) Construction of a connector to existing sidewalk. e) Construction of a curb cut to provide accessible mobility on and off bus stop platforms. f) Supply and install bus stop sign posts g) Relocation of bus stop signs h) Installation of a drainage pipe in the event pad construction impedes natural drainage.
