Reference Number AB-2023-05187 Government owned water management infrastructure in the Oldman River Basin consists primarily of earth and concrete structures. These infrastructures also include electrical, mechanical, and geotechnical components along with electro-mechanical and geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring systems. Regular maintenance must be performed on these systems, and deficiencies with the major structures and the supporting sub-systems are identified during regular inspection by Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch personnel using fall protection equipment. Alberta Agriculture & Irrigation (AGI), Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch (WIOB) is seeking a Fall Protection Safety Equipment Inspection Service Provider to provide two (2) annual Inspection and Certification Services for all fall protection safety equipment at various water management infrastructure sites located in Southern Alberta. The first inspection will take place starting in October, 2023 and the second inspection will start in October, 2024.
