SCOPE OF PROJECT The project consists of furnishing all material and verifying the following: Utility potholing via vacuum excavation at 338 properties for purposes of determining material types on the house and street sides of the existing curb stops for a random sampling of water service throughout Benton Township. Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. FUNDING The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for by funds received from EGLE and their Drinking Water Asset Management Grant.2 6.BID SURETY A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to Benton Charter Township in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of 90 days after the receipt of bids. The project is intended to follow the following schedule: Contract Award: September 5, 2023 Milestone 1: Restoration of all paved surfaces November 15, 2023 Substantial Completion (including dormant seeding) December 15, 2023
