Planned improvements include upgrading the tennis courts and replacing 2 of the 3 tennis courts with pickleball and handball courts, upgrading the basketball courts, upgrading the playground to be universally accessible, installing an outdoor classroom, improving site wayfinding and signage, upgrading site furnishings including picnic tables, benches, trash cans, bike racks, and signage, and improving the landscaping and tree cover. North Common is a 7.69 acre park featuring a state-run public pool, 2 basketball courts, 2 handball courts, a softball field, 2 playgrounds, a community garden, a volleyball courts, and an amphitheater with stage. Planned improvements include renovating the existing restroom building and adding concessions, converting the softball field to little league, upgrading the older playground equipment, replacing the mulch playground surfaces with poured-in-place rubber, upgrading the amphitheater to resolve drainage issues, upgrading site furnishings including picnic tables, benches, trash cans, bike racks, and signage, and improving the landscaping and tree cover. Father Maguire Park is a 4.59 acre park featuring 2 playgrounds, 2 tennis courts, a softball field, 3 basketball courts, a volleyball court, and a small community garden.
