Renovation of a municipal facility in Fort Fraser, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project consists of the provision and installation of ground heat exchanger (GHX) system for future connection to the building HVAC system. The scope of this contract includes but is not limited to the provision and installation of: .1 Geothermal heat exchange boreholes as part of a geothermal ground heat exchanger (GHX). .2 Connective piping between the boreholes and also supply/return runout piping connecting the GHX to the building. .3 Building penetration of the runout supply/return piping. .4 Manifold inside crawlspace of building. .5 Preparing the assembled GHX for use including flushing, purging, and installation of heat exchange fluid. .6 Excavation, backfill and compaction of trenching to accommodate connective piping. .7 Preparing a level rough surface grade (the work scope does not include final grading or finishing landscaping).
