Renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Killingly, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a municipal facility.
The space on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Town Hall would provide much needed office space for several departments. This project would include the design, renovation and reconfiguration of office space to allow for a more functional layout among Town Hall departments as well as improvements to the elevator. The elevator portion of the project would replace the existing elevator and extend service to the 3rd and 4th floors of the Town Hall. The existing elevator was installed in the mid-1980's and requires modifications to meet current code and ADA compliance. As of August 17, 2023, this project is included in the Town of Killing's FY 2024 - FY 2028 Capital Improvement Plan and funding is allotted for FY 2026 and FY 2027. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
