Reconstruction of the sewage treatment plant that has reached the end of its service life. The scope of work includes the deconstruction of existing facilities and the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant. The owner is considering three solutions: - station based on a suspended-packed biological reactor followed by aerated ponds; - mechanized station of the activated sludge type with complete mixing, secondary settling tanks and sludge treatment system; - mechanized station of the biological membrane reactor type and sludge treatment system. TIMELINE: Working drawings are ongoing. Owner is seeking required environmental approvals and confirmation of funding from different levels of government. Timelines for a tender and construction are not finalized. Further update in summer/fall 2026.
