23238 Project requirements include the removal and disposal of the current bus lifts and the supply and installation of the 4 (four) new bus lifts. There are four inground lifts in place currently. All four are inoperable and need to be removed and replaced. The lifts are used for large fixed route buses and smaller cutaway buses as described in the summary. Term: Total contract time: 60 Days ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: $1,200,000.00 A 5% Bid Bond is required and executed on the bond form provided in this bid package. The Bidder will be held responsible for any and all discrepancies, errors, etc., in discounts or rebates which are discovered during the Contract term or up to and including three (3) years following the County's annual audit. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals, to waive informalities, and to accept all or any part of any bid proposal as may deemed to be in the best interest of the County A Bid bond shall accompany each Bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid amount and shall be valid for a period not less than one hundred twenty (120) days. If a Bid bond is used, the Bidder shall complete and submit the Bid bond form provided in this solicitation. After the County and the successful Bidder have executed a written Contract and the successful Bidder has recorded an acceptable payment and performance bond or if one hundred twenty (120) days have passed after the date of the formal opening of the Bids and no Contract has been awarded, the Bid security of any Bidder will be returned upon written demand.
