License Requirements General Contractor's Class "B" License General Bid Instructions: 1. Returned bids must contain this Work Write-Up/Submittal sheet and itemized costs reflected on Work Write-Up. 2. All work shall conform to the Community Development Division Department Housing Rehabilitation Program. 3. As required by applicable codes, bids shall include the cost of locating, exposing, and relocating of water, sewer or gas lines when scope of work includes foundations for room additions or detached (garage) structures. 4. Work Write-Up Specifications govern over plans, sketches, Pest Control Report, Lead-Based Paint Report, or any oral agreement. 5. Questions regarding the Work Write-Up should be referred to the assigned Housing Rehabilitation Specialist. Amendments to the bidding process and/or Work Write-Up shall be forwarded to the contractor by using the contact information provided by contractor on this document. 6. Validated bids must be within the window of 15% of the engineering estimate. STRIP ROOF: Strip and dispose of existing roof covering and sheathing. RE-SHEATH ROOF: Provide and install new sheathing. All exposed sheathing shall be 1/2 CDX plywood. COMPOSITION ROOFING: Install cool-roof, new 220 lb., 30-year, class A "fire-rated" HI/LOW dimensional fiberglass composition roof shingles per manufacturers specifications. Install over a layer of #30 lbs felt underlayment. Homeowner to choose Park Approved color. REPLACE ALL METAL ROFF FLASHINGS, ROOF VENTS AND DRIP EDGE. RAIN GUTTERS: Provide and install new seamless 5" gutters and downspouts to service roof. TO INCLUDE ALL VISIBLE DRY-ROT, FACIA, SOFFIT
