Bids shall be made in accordance with the Notice to Bidders, Requirements for Bidders, Plans, Specifications, and Bidder's Proposal, which are on file and available for examination at the Office of the TOWN Clerk in the Municipal Building, 222 N. Tolson Street, Langston Oklahoma 73050, and are made a part of this notice as fully set forth herein. All bids shall remain on file at least forty- eight (48) hours thereafter before a contract shall be made and entered into thereon. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. A cashier's check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. The LANGSTON Public Works Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids. NON-DISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENT Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications.
