Renovation of a water / sewer project in Panama City, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks bids from qualified electrical contractors for the purchase and installation of a new diesel 350 KW, or adequately sized as determined by vendor and electrical engineer, generator and automatic transfer switch (ATS) located at the BC-25 Lift Station at 2312 West Game Farm Road, Panama City, FL 32405. Bids shall include all labor and materials needed to remove and replace the unit and perform a startup that meets the requirements of the manufacturer to maintain factory warranty. The project may be reimbursed by the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as part of the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) No. DR-4486-011-R. It is imperative that Respondents examine and become familiar with the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program established by the FDEM. Funding for the project may be made possible through this grant and is contingent on strict conformance to the guidelines set forth by FDEM and FEMA. Respondents will comply with the Federal Regulations Contract Requirements shown at Exhibit 4. Bidders shall submit all questions, in writing, to the Purchasing Department via email Purchasing@baycountyfl.gov, the Bonfire portal, or FAX to (850) 248-8276. All questions shall be submitted no later than 5:00 pm (CDT) Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
