Renovation of a detention facility in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids for roof recovering over an existing metal roof with roof overlay purlins and new standing seam metal roof on the IPI warehouse building at the Mt. Pleasant Correctional Facility (MPCF), 1200 E. Washington St, Mount Pleasant, Iowa 52641 This project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax. Davis Bacon Wages will not apply to this project. The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services anticipates construction to begin on April 15, 2024 and end on July 31, 2024.
