Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Cherryville, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project consists of installation of one 24.384 m steel girder superstructure, with composite concrete deck with flare, on steel pipe risers and pre-cast concrete footings on the South Fork FSR. Service will include the removal of the existing 21 m all-steel portable structure and transport to Ministry of Transportation pit in Cherryville. Service will include development, supply and placement of rip rap and completion of all new bridge approach road works. Located at South Fork 14km K1788 FSR. Question Deadline 09/07/2023 at 10:00 AM PT The term of the contract will be from September 14, 2023 to November 30, 2023. Travel east from Cherryville on Hwy 6 (from the North Fork Road junction) approximately 10km to the start of the South Fork FSR. The start of the South Fork FSR is approximately 1.5km east of the Gold Pan Cafe on Hwy 6. From Hwy 6 travel 14.0 km on the South Fork FSR to the site.
