The City of Gastonia reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. The City is seeking qualified firms to implement an AMI system, to include equipment and labor for installation (water and electric meters, network, software, and installation services); and a portal that will allow customers to view their usage and pay bills online. The AMI system and customer portal will serve approximately 80,000 residents with City of Gastonia water and/or electric service. The AMI system will include the replacement of approximately 38,000 water and 32,000 electric meters.
